Today, the Central Election Commission will draw the numbers under which presidential and vice-presidential tickets will appear on the ballot for the October 25 election. The drawing starts at 3:00 p.m. and will be held in public. The commission will also hold a second drawing, which will determine the order in which candidates, parties, coalitions and initiative committees appear in the various campaign formats broadcast by state media. Twenty-eight presidential and vice-presidential tickets are competing for the presidency and a place at "Dondukov" 2. The campaign itself officially kicks off at midnight on September 25 and runs through midnight on October 23.
