Sofia hosted "Drawings in Books" – the first national forum of its kind for fine arts schools in Bulgaria, focusing on children's book illustration. The forum concluded with a visit to "Book Alley" – Sofia 2026, where participants explored the latest titles on the Bulgarian book market.

As part of the program, young talents experimented with their ideas and followed every stage of the professional illustrators' creative process. They participated in practical workshops and masterclasses, meeting established Bulgarian children's book illustrators.

Among the seven schools selected from across the country for their high creative achievements and experience in working with children, the Fine Arts School at the Center for Support of Preschool and School Education (CPPLR) – Burgas stood out. The Burgas delegation consisted of Lyubov Yordanova, Elisaveta Kuzmanova, and Divna Zhelezcheva, and their participation was led by Ms. Sevina Traykova.

While the students developed their creativity, teachers from the seven participating schools held a professional discussion regarding the exchange of experience and best practices in the field.
