Burgasbus is adding one more trip on route 15 between Burgas and Sarafovo, the municipal bus operator said. From today, express buses B1 and B2 leave the Meden Rudnik terminal more often between 7:00 and 7:30am.

The operator says it made the change after an analysis of morning passenger numbers between 6:40 and 7:10am. The aim is a better service.

Under the new timetable, buses from Burgas to Sarafovo leave at 6:05, 6:15, 6:25, 6:45, 7:05 and 7:25am. In the other direction, buses leave Sarafovo at 6:40, 6:50, 7:00, 7:10, 7:30, 7:50 and 8:10am.

From Meden Rudnik, B1 leaves at 7:00, 7:08, 7:16 and 7:24am, and B2 at 7:04, 7:12, 7:20 and 7:30am. Buses on the same route run 8 minutes apart. A B1 bus is followed by a B2 bus 4 minutes later.

We wrote in October about the more frequent B1 and B2 trips from Meden Rudnik between 7:00 and 7:30am. The change came after parents reported that buses were packed with schoolchildren and workers during that half hour. Burgasbus had confirmed that the routes were full.
