From Monday, 26 October, Burgasbus will run more buses from the Meden Rudnik terminal on express lines B1 and B2 between 7:00 and 7:30am.

Parents in the Meden Rudnik district, whose children go to school in central Burgas, had asked for more runs. The buses are packed in that half hour because workers and pupils travel at the same time, and not everyone can get on.

Under the new timetable, buses on each line leave every 8 minutes, with B1 and B2 4 minutes apart. B1 buses leave at 7:00, 7:08, 7:16 and 7:24am, and B2 buses at 7:04, 7:12, 7:20 and 7:30am.

The problem of full buses from Meden Rudnik was raised before the timetable change. In October, after a parent from the district flagged it, Burgasbus confirmed that lines B1 and B2 are full of pupils between 7:00 and 7:30am. It also suggested that schools start lessons at different times.

The full timetable is on the Burgasbus website.
