A traffic jam of about 10.8 km had built up on the Kraimorie–Burgas road by 5.27pm on 22 October 2026. Cars are moving at an average of 27 km/h, and drivers face a delay of about 16 minutes. Nearly 700 vehicles are stuck in the queue.

Traffic is slow in other places too. Near Burgas, the queue is about 2.1 km long, with an average speed of 18 km/h and about 150 vehicles. Near Aheloy, traffic is slow over about 2 km, at 32 km/h, with about 100 vehicles.

In the city, the busiest roads are Stefan Stambolov Boulevard out of the centre and Zahari Stoyanov Boulevard into it. Traffic is also slow on Todor Aleksandrov Street and Prof. Yakim Yakimov Street, both out of the centre, and on Stefan Stambolov Boulevard into the centre.
