Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel leads a solemn liturgy in the Rila Monastery

On the eve of an important Orthodox holiday, associated with the commemoration of the death of Saint John of Rila, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church is preparing a solemn liturgy in one of the most significant national spiritual centers - the Rila Monastery.

His Holiness the Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel will be the official leader of the service, which takes on an exceptionally symbolic significance for Bulgarian spirituality and religious tradition. The choice of the Rila Monastery is not accidental, as it is one of the most important centers of Orthodoxy and Bulgarian culture.
