A 33-year-old man from Burgas was injured when he fell off an electric scooter on Demokratsia Street, Burgas regional police (ODMVR) said.

The fall happened near block 68 shortly before 3pm yesterday. Police say the man was riding too fast for the road, lost control of the scooter and fell onto the pavement.

He is being treated at Burgas university hospital for a broken right shoulder, a broken right collarbone and one broken rib.

Police say it is the latest accident involving an electric scooter.
