The Student Committee at the Burgas Municipality (UKOB) and the Burgas 2032 Foundation are organizing the second edition of the National Poetry Contest "Burgas Inspires" — this year's theme is "The Natural Beauty of Burgas." With the contest, the organizers aim to support young literary talents across the country.

Participants compete in two age groups — 14 to 17 years old and 18 to 30 years old. The poems will be judged by a jury of established Burgas poets and literary figures.

Entries are accepted until November 1 of this year.

Nominated authors will receive an invitation to the awards ceremony on December 2 at the Flora Exhibition Center. It begins at 6:00 p.m. with a musical-poetic performance featuring students of music and theatrical arts.

"If you're a young creator and poetry is your language — this contest is for you! Let's show together that Burgas inspires," say the organizers from UKOB.

The contest is part of Burgas's bid to become European Capital of Culture in 2032.
