Final highlights of the Burgas International Film Festival
The eleventh edition of the Burgas International Film Festival reaches its culmination today with a rich program, including documentary and feature films, meetings with creators, and a grand awards ceremony.
All screenings at the NHK Cultural Center are free of charge, and the films are shown with Bulgarian and English subtitles.
Event schedule:
- 15:00 - Screening of short films from the "Challenge" project and an awards ceremony for young talents.
- 16:00 - The documentary film "James: Getting Away with It" and a discussion with director Chris Atkins.
- 18:00 - BURGAS CORNER program featuring the films "Good Evil" and "In the Open Sea".
- 18:30 - Special screening of "Aurora" with the participation of directors Georgi Stoev – Jackie and Nikola Boshnakov.
- 20:30 - Official awards ceremony and closing of the festival.
- 20:45 - Final screening of "Dead Man's Wire" by the legendary Gus Van Sant.

25.07.2026, 11:52Абе, пак ли филмов фест? Честно да ти кажа, не разбирам от тая работа, ама поне са направили нещо в Бургас. Добре де, че има някакви мероприятия, все пак, иначе само прах и мързел. Дано наградите отидат при достойни хора, а не за познай кой.
