Concert "The Songs of Burgas" with additional tickets

The concert "The Songs of Burgas" on September 14 at 7:30 p.m. generated unprecedented interest, with all tickets for the Summer Theater being snatched up in record time. Due to the huge demand, the organizers released an additional contingent of passes, including for standing room, to give more people the opportunity to be part of the exciting event.

Where and when to get the additional tickets?

The additional tickets have zero monetary value, but are mandatory for access to the concert. They will be distributed on September 12, after 11:00 a.m., from the "Chasovnika" ticket office. Queues in front of the ticket office will likely form long before the announced time, as fans of Burgas music are rushing to secure a spot at the show.

What is the concert dedicated to?

The concert is conceived as a musical tribute by the Municipality of Burgas to the remarkable artists who have left a lasting mark on the city's cultural life. The show will offer the audience an unforgettable journey through time, presenting some of the most beloved Bulgarian songs. They will be performed in new arrangements, the work of maestro Georgi Miltiyadov, who will conduct the Symphony Orchestra and band.

Spectators will enjoy emblematic compositions with music by Stefan Diomov, Georgi Naydenov – Gogo, Konstantin Tashev and Ivan Kolarov, as well as lyrics by Nedyalko Yordanov, Vanyo Valchev, Peyo Panteleev, Hristo Fotev, Petya Dubarova and Ivan Vanev.

Among the songs the audience will hear are the timeless hits "The boy who talks to the sea", "Don't grow old, love", "Telephone love", "My manly girl", "Night over the city", "The hill with the crazy grass", "There was in Burgas", "Hello, how are you, friend?", "Burgas evenings" and many others.

Who will host the event?

The hosts of the event will be Mina Ilieva, Georg Kiryakov and Teodor Karakachanov. The trio will guide the audience through the history of each of the authors born on the Burgas coast, enriching the experience with interesting facts and stories. The concert will also feature a special appearance by the actor Dimitar Marinov.

The script for the show is the work of maestro Stefan Diomov, and the director is Radoy Nikolov. The event is in support of Burgas's bid for European Capital of Culture 2032 and is part of the project proposal of the Municipality of Burgas under the procedure BG-RRP-11.021 – Grant scheme "New generation local policies for culture for large municipalities". This highlights the strategic importance of culture as a driver for the development and international recognition of the city.
