On August 25, a key discussion forum dedicated to the future of tourism in the country will take place in the seaside city of Burgas. The event, titled
"Tourism: Education - Business - Local Government", will be held at the College of Tourism at the "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" University and aims to create a platform for dialogue among the most important stakeholders.
The forum will be officially opened by Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh and Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev, whose presence emphasizes the state priority given to the topic. They will be joined at the opening ceremony by other prominent figures, including the university's rector, Prof. Dr. Hristo Bozov, and the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov. The presence of such high-ranking representatives from various sectors shows the seriousness of the issues that will be discussed.
The main goal of the event is to bring together representatives from academia, business, and local government. In an atmosphere of frank conversation, participants will discuss how to overcome the challenges facing the tourism sector and how to train qualified personnel to meet the needs of the market. - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veselina Atanasova, who is the director of the College of Tourism;
- the deputy mayor for tourism at Burgas Municipality, Manol Todorov;
- the newly appointed head of the Regional Department of Education, Valentina Kamalieva;
- the chairman of the Burgas Regional Tourism Chamber, Stefan Georgiev.
