The tour tells the story of the Giuseppe Verdi Theater in Salerno – an institution with a tumultuous past. After the devastating earthquake in 1980, the theater remained closed for 14 years, and the residents of Salerno saw this as the loss of the city's "voice." Its revival in 1994 turned it into a symbol of cultural resilience and Italian identity.

The Strong Connection with Bulgaria

Particularly exciting is the long-standing cultural dialogue between the theater in Salerno and the Bulgarian vocal school. Names such as Ghena Dimitrova, Orlin Anastassov, Svetla Vassileva, and Sonya Yoncheva are part of the orchestra's glorious history.
