The classic story "101 Dalmatians" will come to life on the stage of the State Puppet Theatre Burgas as a large-scale original musical on September 23, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The production was created specifically for the actors of the Burgas theatre and features original songs, dances, puppets, and humor.

The plot follows fashion icon Cruella de Vil's decision to steal all the Dalmatian puppies in town to make herself a fur coat. Among the kidnapped pups are the offspring of Pongo and Perdita, who set off on a dangerous and frantic rescue adventure to track down the kidnapper. The show is designed for the whole family, with a running time of 80 minutes. It is suitable for children aged 5 and up.

The musical is based on the novel by Dodie Smith, with a stage adaptation by Glen Robbins, translated by Lyubov Kostova. The musical adaptation and direction are by Elena Panayotova, scenography and puppets by Yuliana Voykova, music by Asen Avramov, and lyrics by Iliya Devedzhiev. The musical director is Roberta, the choreographer is Rosen Mihaylov, and the poster was designed by Niya Petrova.

The cast includes Aleksandra Grancharova, Gergana Anmahyan, Desislava Mincheva-Todorova, Stanislava Kamenova-Zafirova, Alex Anmahyan, Delian Kyosev, Diyán Rusev, and Nikolay Nikolov.

The production is created in cooperation with the "Burgas 2032" Foundation and supports the city's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032. The musical is produced in partnership with "Non-Human Stores" to turn a love for four-legged friends into an unforgettable stage experience for the entire family.
