The University of Burgas is preparing the next generation of roboticists.
Approximately 20 students successfully completed a robotics course organized by Burgas University. The young people developed valuable skills such as creativity, ingenuity, and teamwork, and received certificates for their participation.
Repair of 18.5 km of first-class road I-4 between Targovishte and Buhovtsi
The Road Infrastructure Agency has launched a preventive repair of 18.5 km of a section of first-class road I-4 between the towns of Targovishte and Buhovtsi. The repair work will be carried out in stages, without interrupting traffic, but drivers are urged to drive carefully and follow the road signs.
Road repairs and safety measures on key sections in Southern and Western Bulgaria
Measures have been taken to improve road safety in various areas of Southern and Western Bulgaria. Sections of first-class roads I-5 and II-81, as well as the Trakia Motorway, have been renovated, including the application of new markings, installation of road signs and barrier systems, repair of the asphalt surface, and other activities.

The Institute for Economic Policy is organizing the 25th jubilee edition of its long-standing regional initiative - the Summer Seminar for Young Civil Servants and Experts in the Field of Public Policies. This year's edition, titled "Strategic Vision for Central and Eastern Europe in Times of Continuing Uncertainty", brought together 37 participants from 13 countries who worked together to create a common vision for the future of the region.

The Ministry of Innovation and Growth is allocating 3.5 million levs for the development of the industrial zone in Shumen. The project includes the construction, reconstruction, and rehabilitation of the technical infrastructure to attract new investors and create over 100 new jobs.
Police operation against human trafficking for sexual exploitation
Specialized police operation of the GDBOP against a criminal group that held women in forced submission for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Two people - a man and a woman - have been arrested and charged with a total of 22 crimes related to human trafficking and sexual exploitation of women.

The Minister of Health of Bulgaria, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvi Kirillov, participated in a meeting of the EU Council on Health, where legislative proposals for critical medicines and the reform of pharmaceutical legislation were discussed. Our country expressed support, but also concerns regarding public procurement and financing. The ministers also approved conclusions on the mental health of young people, as well as discussed measures to limit smoking and alcohol.
The Ministry of Agriculture determines the rates for environmental payments for permanent crops in 2024.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food, Dr. Georgi Takhov, issued an order that sets the amounts of support for the ecological maintenance of permanent crops in 2024. The rate for maintaining the inter-row spaces is 330.39 BGN/ha, and for maintaining the strips along the edges of the plot is 129.71 BGN/ha.
Growing trade cooperation between Bulgaria and Cuba

Temporary repair activities on Trakia Motorway in the regions of Sofia, Pazardzhik and Burgas
From June 23 to 27, repair work will be carried out on the Burgas lane of the "Trakia" highway in the regions of Sofia, Pazardzhik and Burgas. The repairs will affect traffic, with lanes being restricted in places. The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers to drive carefully and not to use the emergency lanes.
Criminal events, fire and traffic accidents in Burgas region
For the last 24 hours in Burgas region, three thefts, two other criminal offenses, one fire, and four traffic accidents have been reported. Ten crimes have been solved, including the detention of persons possessing narcotics and laughing gas intended for distribution.

Burgas Municipality informs that from June 23, 2025, for a period of 3 months, a temporary traffic organization will be introduced on Debelt Street in connection with the start of repair activities on the water supply and sewerage network. Two sections of the street will be closed to motor vehicles.
