The Burgas International Film Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary edition from July 12 to 18, 2025. The focus is on film music and composition, and among the main highlights is the Youth Jury, which gives future voices of cinema the opportunity to communicate with popular actors and directors.
The advertising industry in Bulgaria: 25 years of evolution, presented in a unique exhibition
Burgas will host a special exhibition that traces the development of the advertising sector in Bulgaria from 2004 to 2024. The exhibition, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies (BACA), will present the best projects awarded in the competition program of the Advertising Festival (FARA) over the past 25 years. The event will open a new perspective on the changes in themes, media channels, and the communication environment in advertising.
Nessebar welcomes 70 performers and 22 ensembles to the International Folklore Festival "Nessebar Jewelry"
From June 6 to 8, the XI International Folklore Festival "Nesebur Jewel" will be held in Nesebur, organized by the People's Cultural Center "Yana Laskova - 1905" and the Municipality of Nesebur. The forum will bring together over 70 individual performers and 22 singing, instrumental and dance groups from Bulgaria and Turkey, who will present authentic and arranged folklore.
Burgas community center organizes the 9th "Colorful Cauldron" festival with a diverse program
Community center "St. St. Cyril and Methodius 1985" in Burgas will host the next edition of the "Colorful Pot" festival on June 8. The event will feature demonstrations of yoga, karate, and scientific experiments, as well as a concert program with various musical performers.
The Fourth Edition of the "Kinovakantsia" Film Festival in Burgas presents a variety of Bulgarian films.
The "Kinovakantsia" festival will be held from June 22 to 24 in the Cultural Center NHK in Burgas. The event will present feature films and short films, including auteur works, debuts and established names from contemporary Bulgarian cinema. The program includes meetings with the creative teams of six of the films, and admission for the audience is free.
Burgas is once again becoming a stage for a magical festival of street arts
The 6Fest Street Arts Festival is returning to Burgas on June 21 and 22, 2025. The highlight of the program is a light carnival procession with giant puppets in the shape of birds, fish, and pumpkins, which will pass through the city center. The festival also includes interactive daytime events where the audience will be able to view the puppets and meet the artists.
Charity festival "Izgrev Park Fest" raises funds for a family in need
On June 6 in the park of the holiday resort "Izgrev" the annual "Izgrev Park Fest" with a charitable cause will be held. The collected funds will be donated to the family of Niki, Anastasia and Zarko Karanchevi, who lost their home in a fire. The festival will include a diverse concert program with performances by young artists, demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, and other fun activities.

Burgas welcomes 900 dancers for the 10th anniversary edition of the National Folklore Festival
Burgas will host the Tenth Jubilee Edition of the National Folklore Festival of Folk Dance Clubs "Horo by the Azure Coast - Burgas 2025". The event will bring together 900 dancers from 29 folklore clubs from across the country and will mark the city's candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032.
