The fourteenth edition of the "Air Wonders" International Kite Festival kicks off today in Varna and will continue through tomorrow. The sky above Asparuhovo Beach will turn into a stage for demonstrations of massive, colorful kites.

The event follows the traditional bird migration route known as "Via Pontica." The festival program began in Sinemorets, is passing through Varna, and is set to conclude in Shabla.

The program includes performances by international kite clubs, which will showcase unique and large-scale kite models. Visitors will also be able to watch steerable sports kites performing complex aerial figures. Some of the most attractive elements are the 3D models depicting animals.

The "Air Wonders" festival aims to spread messages about the conservation of endangered bird species and environmental cleanliness. The events start at 10:00 a.m.
