Don't be in a rush to say goodbye to summer — it has settled in comfortably in Burgas throughout September. In this month, which is a favorite for seaside strolls, a packed program of events awaits you that you should mark on your calendar right now.

The "Flora" Exposition Center once again becomes a major attraction, hosting the Fish and Wine Festival from September 3 to 7 with free admission. Over five days, visitors will enjoy music, dancing, wine tastings, and delicious food. The stage will host over 100 artists from home and abroad, including Boney M. Xperience, Kerana & kosmonavtite, Silvia Katsarova, SIRIS BAND – Greek Night, and the Venezuelans from TAMBO SONG. In parallel, from September 4 to 7, the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center will welcome tango enthusiasts for its thematic festival.

The Summer Theatre in Burgas maintains its status as a hotspot throughout the month. On September 7, the concert by Georgi Dulguerov is scheduled, followed by the performance "The Poets and the Woman" on September 9. These are just a small part of the rich list of cultural offerings in the heart of the Sea Garden.

On September 13, the city will become the arena for one of the most anticipated sporting events – the ninth edition of "Burgas Run". This year, the organizers promise a new start, modified routes, and the long-awaited return of the classic 21 km distance – the half-marathon. The routes start from the square in front of the NHK Cultural Center and pass through iconic locations, including the Sea Garden and the coastal promenade, with temporary traffic restrictions along the way.

Documentary film lovers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in history through the DOCK festival, which will take place from September 17 to 22 at the NHK Cultural Center. With free admission, the forum will offer six days dedicated to the connection between cinema, historical memory, and contemporary interpretations of the past, reminding us that history remains relevant through films from Bulgaria and around the world.

Between September 18 and 20, an inspiring festival of Bulgarian folklore will take place on the stage of the NHK Cultural Center. Folk groups from Bulgarian communities around the world will showcase the traditions, songs, and dances of our people. The event is organized by the Association of Bulgarian Folk Ensembles Abroad and "Post Box for Fairy Tales", with the support of Burgas Municipality and the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, with the goal of connecting generations and preserving identity. Admission is free.
