The renovation includes installing new thermal insulation on the façade, and other energy efficiency measures. The building is already surrounded by scaffolding, and preparations for the main works are underway.

As we previously wrote in our main article, Burgas Municipality launched a large-scale program for the renovation and insulation of residential buildings, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The first stage covers 30 blocks in different city districts, and “Meden Rudnik” is among the first neighborhoods where the works have already started.

What residents expect:

  • Improved insulation and a fresh appearance for the building
  • Lower heating bills
  • More comfortable and safer living environment

The implementation of the program has been long-awaited by many residents, and the works at Block 100 are the first clear sign that the promised changes are already happening. By the end of the year, a significant number of buildings in Burgas are expected to be fully renovated.
