Mountain tourism conditions

The Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) informs that conditions for mountain tourism are good, but warns of low temperatures. They are currently around 3 degrees, and the service emphasizes that tourists should be well prepared for the cold weather.

Currently, there have been no reports of incidents or need for assistance in the mountains over the past 24 hours.

Weather forecast

According to data from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), the weather will be variable:

• Cloudiness will be significant, with the development of cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds in the afternoon.
• Short-term precipitation, accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected in some places.
• The wind will be moderate, coming from the northern quarter.

Temperatures by altitude

Temperatures remain relatively low for the season:

• At an altitude of 1200 meters: maximums around 16°.
• At an altitude of 2000 meters: maximums around 9°.

Tourists are urged to follow current forecasts before heading to the high parts of the mountain.
