Mountain rescuers from the Bulgarian Red Cross have issued an official warning to all tourists regarding safe movement conditions in the mountains during the summer season. Expert Asya Dzhambazova shared the current situation and necessary precautions with national media.

According to specialists, the current moment is extremely suitable for mountain hikes due to the exceptionally good sunny weather. Despite the favorable meteorological conditions, rescuers insist that tourists should be maximally prepared and responsible.

The main recommendations include mandatory carrying of sufficient water, appropriate equipment, and high personal discipline during movement in mountain terrain. Observing fire prevention measures is especially critical given the increased temperatures.

The expert from the Mountain Rescue Service emphasized the exceptional importance of preventing possible fires. Lighting open fires, throwing cigarette butts, and careless handling of fire sources in forest areas are strictly prohibited.
