The Municipality of Kostenets presented its investment potential to the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Deputy Mayor of Kostenets Municipality, Margarita Mincheva, presented to Dr. Vasil Todorov, Deputy Chairman of the BCCI, the main economic advantages and resources of the region that can attract new investors. Kostenets Municipality has three national resorts - Momin Prohod, Vili Kostenets and Pchelinski Bani, all with access to rich deposits of mineral waters. This creates unique opportunities for the development of balneology, health, mountain, rural, eco, winter, hunting, fishing, festival and cultural tourism.

The region is an established tourist center with long-standing traditions and many built-up tourist facilities. On the territory of the municipality there are also numerous natural and cultural-historical landmarks, such as the fortress "Stenos" at the "Trajan's Gate" pass and the Kostenets waterfall, churches, chapels and monasteries.

Kostenets Municipality has taken active steps to acquire public baths and adjacent parks, currently state-owned, in order to turn them into modern thermal centers. This represents a significant opportunity for investors who wish to participate in the restoration and operation of these valuable resources. For the development of these investment opportunities, the municipality is engaged in improving the infrastructure and creating a favorable environment to attract investors.

Dr. Vasil Todorov outlined the parameters of the future partnership with the BCCI and areas for support, including organizing promotional campaigns and presenting the advantages of the municipality within the framework of meetings and forums - at national and international level.
