The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a weather warning for today, declaring a yellow code for heavy rainfall in the districts of Burgas, Varna, and Shumen. The forecast predicts localized torrential rains accompanied by thunderstorms and temporary gusts of wind in these regions.

For the rest of the country, no warnings for hazardous weather phenomena have been issued. According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, the day will be predominantly sunny, followed by the development of cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds. In the second half of the day, short-term showers with thunderstorms are expected in the northeastern parts of Bulgaria, as well as in some mountainous regions.

The wind will be light to moderate: it will blow from the east-northeast in the far eastern areas, while in the rest of the country, it will come from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures across the country will range between 30° and 35°, while in the northeastern regions and along the Black Sea coast, they will be lower, ranging from 27° to 29°. In Sofia, thermometers will reach around 31°. Atmospheric pressure remains above the monthly average, although a slight drop is expected throughout the day.
