Police in Burgas have detained a 34-year-old man on suspicion of stealing six used tyres from a car repair shop on Krayezerna Street, the Burgas regional police directorate said. See our original report: Pomorie police detain 14-year-old over three house break-ins, three men over diesel theft.

The theft was reported to the Second District Police Department at around 12:00 yesterday, Tuesday. The tyres are second-hand.

After checks, officers detained the Burgas resident, who has a criminal record. Police say he was driving an Audi.
