Weather Forecast: Storms and Hail in Western and Central Bulgaria

During the night, the weather will be clear, but tomorrow the situation will change. According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), cumulus-rain clouds will develop from west to east.

Expect short-term precipitation with thunderstorms, with the most intense phenomena occurring in the Rila-Rhodope region. There is an increased risk of hail.

Temperatures and Wind

• Maximum temperatures: Between 31° and 36°, around 29° in Sofia.
• Wind: Moderate to strong from the northwest in the Danube Plain, bringing cooling.

Weather along the Black Sea coast and in the mountains

By the sea, it will remain mostly sunny and dry with a water temperature of 24-25°. In the mountains, however, the weather will be unstable with conditions for thunderstorms.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather is expected to stabilize, with temperatures rising again to 37°.
