Higher education institutions in Bulgaria discuss international cooperation and institutional support

On June 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the International Congress Center of the Burgas Sea Port, a regular meeting of the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Bulgaria will be held. The hosts of the event will be the rectors of the National Academy of Arts, the Burgas Free University, the Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" and the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Among the guests of the meeting will be the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E. Mr. Rami bin Saud Al-Otaibi, with whom the opportunities for cooperation between the universities of the two countries will be discussed.

The Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA) Mrs. Raina Mandjukova will present the common problems of higher education institutions and the EABA. The Chairperson of the Economic and Social Council, Mrs. Zornitsa Rusinova, will discuss the possibilities for cooperation between the two institutions. The Executive Director of the Executive Agency "Education Program" Mr. Ivan Popov will also attend the meeting to present the measures in support of the higher education institutions managed by the Agency.
