International festival in Greece

The 16th international oriental dance and Arab culture festival "Cairo by Night" concluded in the Greek city of Serres. The event traditionally gathers the elite of the world of dance art, and this year the children's category was an arena for competition between representatives from Eastern Europe.

Achievements of the Bulgarian participant

The representative of Bulgaria, the young star Nikol, demonstrated an incredible level of mastery, winning two silver awards in the "Children" category. She showed impeccable technique and artistry that won the warm applause of the judges and the audience, proving the strength of the national school on the international stage.

Victory of the Ukrainian participant

The absolute winner and the main discovery of the festival was the 9-year-old Ukrainian girl Belan Michelina, who won all first places in her category. Her performance at the grand Gala concert to "saidi music" impressed even world stars and legends of oriental dance, who noted her charisma and depth of performance.

A culminating moment of her participation was an improvisation to the instrumental accompaniment of a Cairo orchestra with the composition "Sawwah". This "maturity exam" to live music showed a phenomenal sense of rhythm and instant reaction, which brought the hall to its feet.
