Creative workshop "The Blue has a thousand faces" at the Georgi Baev Gallery-Museum
From September 8th to 11th, young artists in Burgas have a unique opportunity to join an innovative creative workshop under the guidance of Nadya Peovska. The project introduces children to European abstract marinism through the figure of the great Burgas artist Georgi Baev.
"The Blue has a thousand faces" relies on the principle of experiential learning and takes children beyond the boundaries of classical painting.
What awaits the participants?
- Art history: Comparison of Georgi Baev's style with the iconic Nicolas de Staël, Maurice de Vlaminck, and Jean Bazaine.
- Practical work: Experiments with four different tactile techniques to explore matter and light.
- Closing exhibition: Presentation of the works on September 11th at 6:00 PM.
Event schedule:
- Date: September 08 – 11
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Location: Courtyard of the Georgi Baev Gallery-Museum
- Admission: Completely free
Important: Places are limited! The project is implemented with the support of Burgas Municipality in support of the candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.
