Success for Burgas swimming clubs on the international stage

The awards ceremony for the young swimmers from Burgas, who achieved remarkable results at the international Grand Prix "Mayor's Cup 2026" tournament, was met with pride and well-deserved applause. Mayor Dimitar Nikolov personally congratulated the competitors for their high level of professionalism and sportsmanship.

"Your achievements are the result of a lot of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Continue to follow your dreams and bring glory to Burgas," stated Mayor Nikolov.

Who are the awarded champions?

Swimmers from four leading clubs in the city were honored at the event:

  • SC "Briz": Hatidže Öztürk, Stilyan Indzhov, Valentin Voynov, Dona Vedrichkova, Aya Lozeva, Rumyana Georgieva, Simona Staykova, Laura Racheva.
  • SC "Akulite": Damyan Georgiev, Nikolay Stoev, Konstantin Kolev, Stepan Pantyukhov, Danail Georgiev, Ivan Chakarov, Simeon Zhelev, Viktoria Dineva, Eva Georgieva.
  • SC "Metropol": Veronika Todorova, Stelyan Stoyanov, Hristo Zhelev, Gergana Lukanova, Georgi Kafedzhiev.
  • SC "Chernomorets": Radoslav Rachev, Viliyana Grekova.
