BC Nessebar's under-13 basketball team won both games at a stage of the Bulgarian championship in Stara Zagora, Nessebar council said.

The team beat Lokomotiv Burgas 100-17 and Beroe Stara Zagora 101-61.

"I am extremely proud of our young talents from BC Nessebar," said Nessebar mayor Nikolay Dimitrov. He said the two wins show that hard work, persistence and team spirit help people reach their goals.

The council will keep helping young athletes and give them good conditions to train and grow, Dimitrov promised.

The boys' next two games are at the tournament in Arena Nessebar at the end of November, against Delfin Burgas and again against Lokomotiv Burgas.
