Three players from BC Sveti Vlas are among the girls picked for the Bulgarian Basketball Federation's national under-14 camp, Nessebar municipality said.

The club's coach, Stoyan Velkov, was also invited to join the camp's coaching staff for the same age group.

The camp was held in Belogradchik. The federation brought together promising young players from clubs across Bulgaria to work on their technique and tactics and gain experience at national level.

The municipality says the girls' selection recognises their hard work, persistence and progress, as well as the club's steady work with young basketball talent.

Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov said: "This success is a source of pride not only for Basketball Club Sveti Vlas, but for the whole sports community in Nessebar municipality." He said the municipality will keep supporting sport and activity among young people.

"It is further proof that young players from our region can get a chance to show what they can do at national level," Dimitrov added.
