The Burgas Orthodox Church "Assumption of the Holy Virgin" is preparing for a solemn restoration of its liturgical activities after a large-scale reconstruction. His Eminence the Sliven Metropolitan Arseny will be the lead hierarch of the official ceremony for the church's re-consecration.
The three-month major renovation includes significant improvements to the church's interior space. Among the most essential changes are the installation of modern floor heating and a complete replacement of the outdated marble flooring, which contribute to a more comfortable liturgical environment.
The solemn liturgy is scheduled for Sunday, August 10, starting at 09:00 in the morning. The hierarchical holy liturgy will be personally led by the Sliven Metropolitan Arseny, which adds additional solemnity to the event.
The "Assumption of the Holy Virgin" church opens its doors to the faithful after the reconstruction period, providing a renewed and modernized space for spiritual practices. The local Orthodox community is eagerly awaiting the official restoration of the liturgical rhythm.
