Burgas city councillors vote today on who will get the title "Honorary Citizen of Burgas" and on whether St Anastasia hospital should get a plot of land for a car park and a playground. The agenda for the council's 43rd regular meeting, which starts at 9am, shows this.

Councillors will consider 28 motions, 1 report, 3 draft decisions and 8 questions.

The session opens with a declaration against merging the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (IARA) with the Executive Forest Agency. Councillors led by council chairman Mihail Hadzhiyanev back it.

Four people are up for honorary citizen: Lyuben Dilov Jr, Georgi Yanakiev, Kerana Angelova and Dr Stoyan Georgiev.

One motion proposes handing a plot of land to the St Anastasia children's hospital (MBALDB). The land would hold a car park and a playground for the hospital.

Councillors may also decide for how long, and in which parts of Burgas, construction and installation work will be banned. The ban would rest on Article 15 of the Black Sea Coast Development Act.

Councillor Stoyko Andreev proposes a single standard for street signs in the municipality. Councillors will discuss it and vote.
