A Russian aircraft flew over Bulgaria
This evening, Bulgarian airspace was crossed by a Russian aircraft. The information was officially confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to BNT.
The flight is humanitarian in nature and was carried out for the purpose of combating disasters and emergencies.
The ministry clarified that the overflight was authorized following an official request via a note from the Republic of Serbia. The reason for the extraordinary flight is the need for assistance in controlling large-scale fires raging on Serbian territory.
