Rumen Radev: We support Iliyana Yotova for president
At an extended meeting of "Progressive Bulgaria", together with the coalition partners, a key decision was made for the upcoming presidential elections. Prime Minister Rumen Radev declared his categorical support for the candidacy of Iliyana Yotova.
"For 10 years now, Ms. Yotova and I have been fighting to restore statehood and bring normalcy back to Bulgarian politics," Radev emphasized.
Vision for the presidential institution
According to the Prime Minister, Ms. Yotova is a proven and experienced politician who possesses the necessary energy to defend the interests of society. Radev emphasized the need for consensus between the institutions.
- Candidacy: Nomination by an initiative committee.
- Key priority: Maintaining unity in the presidential institution.
- Proven experience: Teamwork in recent years, marked by cooperation and stability.
"I would be glad if we have a vice president with the profile of Ms. Yotova. We have proven that we are a presidential pair that works in full synchronization," the Prime Minister added.
