The police have launched an investigation into an incident involving a water attraction near Aheloy, while simultaneously looking into a separate case in Sveti Vlas, the Ministry of Interior announced. The report regarding the incident with a "sofa" tube in Sveti Vlas, which occurred on August 23 in front of a hotel, was received by law enforcement on August 26.

At the same time, authorities are working on a case in which six people were injured during an accident involving a water "banana" boat at an unregistered water base near Aheloy. Regarding the incident with the "sofa" (a water attraction) in Sveti Vlas, a 42-year-old Polish tourist had rented the equipment along with her daughter. The attraction was being towed by a jet ski operated by a 54-year-old Bulgarian man.

While in motion, the driver made a sharp turn, resulting in a collision with a surfer who has not yet been identified. During the impact, the jet ski operator fell directly onto the Polish national. As a result of the collision, she sustained three fractured ribs and has been hospitalized for treatment; at this time, there is no danger to her life.
