Member of Parliament Prof. Dr. Vladimir Gonchev and the Executive Director of UMBAL Burgas, Dr. Miroslav Obreikov, held a working meeting. They discussed the status of ongoing projects, as well as plans for renovating hospital buildings and implementing modern medical technology. Prof. Gonchev, who previously served as the hospital's director, is currently a member of the Healthcare Committee in the National Assembly.

During the conversation, the MP monitored the progress of initiatives launched during his own leadership. Some of these activities have already been successfully completed, while others are currently being implemented. The two participants discussed creating a higher-quality environment for both staff and patients, as well as building a modern medical practice based on high technology.

Dr. Miroslav Obreikov provided information regarding the modernization of certain structures, the procurement of new medical equipment, and the challenges facing the current management. During the meeting, they also reviewed potential avenues for expanding the hospital's activities in the coming months.

For his part, Dr. Miroslav Obreikov noted that the progress of a large regional medical institution is a long-term process that is not limited by a single administrative mandate. "It is important that good projects are completed and built upon. Ultimately, the purpose of every investment is seen in how it changes things for the patient and for the people working here," he pointed out.
