Fire at an ammunition depot near the village of Belitsa
The authorities have officially ruled out the possibility of outside interference in the fire that broke out at an ammunition depot near the village of Belitsa. Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev called for an end to speculation and stated that they are working solely with facts.
"There is no evidence of outside interference of any kind," Minister Demerdzhiev stated firmly.
The owner company, EMCO Ltd., also rejected the version of human error. According to Slavcho Demiev, the ignition started "from the inside out" and it was likely a case of spontaneous combustion of a gunpowder charge.
The situation around Tryavna and public safety
- Air: Measurements show that there are no dangerous concentrations of harmful substances.
- Evacuation: The Mayor of Tryavna, Dencho Minev, confirmed that measures have been taken to evacuate people from nearby areas, despite the initial refusal of some residents.
- Control: The fire is under control, and further information from the investigative authorities is expected tomorrow.
Experts from the Specialized Counter-Terrorism Unit (SOBT) are working on-site, and if necessary, military specialists will be brought in to establish the exact cause of the incident.

Абе хора, много ми е тъжно като чета тия новини... Белица... склад с боеприпаси... все едно от филм на ужасите. И тая работа със "самозапалването"... ПИТАМ се наистина, какво да разбираме под това? Аз не съм експерт, ясно е, ама ми се струва малко… несериозно да го отнасяш на такива обяснения. Особено като става въпрос за нещо толкова важно и потенциално опасно.

ох, хора, наистина ли?! читая тези новини, ми идва да се разсмея горчиво... склад за боеприпаси, белица... това е скандално! и този опит да се прикрие истината с тия "самозапалвания" ме възмущава до дъното на душата.
