DPS leader Delyan Peevski called Rumen Radev and Nikolay Koprinkov "the top of the oligarchy" and said Radev personally orders police operations, including the one in Sungurlare. He spoke to journalists in parliament.

Peevski was responding to the prime minister, who used the phrase "the top of the oligarchy" as he opened the cabinet meeting. "The top of the oligarchy is Rumen Radev and Nikolay Koprinkov," Peevski said.

He said the prime minister should have named the people at the top himself, and that Peevski liked hearing him do it. The two men should look in the mirror in the prime minister's office, because everything ends up with them, he said.

Peevski claimed he has information that the professional leadership of the interior ministry and the State Agency for National Security (DANS) meets Radev constantly. He said Radev has taken over all functions, does not know who he is and has everything mixed up in his head.

"All these operations, like the one happening now in Belitsa and the one in Sungurlare, are ordered from one place – by Rumen Radev," Peevski said.
