BNT will run a special election programme on BNT 1, on bntnews.bg and on its other digital platforms on Sunday, 25 October, when Bulgaria votes for a president and vice president. The coverage will run from the start of voting until the results and the first reactions from politicians, the broadcaster said. Data on the winners will appear in real time as a 3D light projection on the BNT building in central Sofia.
The broadcaster gave the first details of election day on Thursday. It has now said who will host what.
More on this story: BNT to cover presidential vote from 06:55 with more than 40 reporting teams
Airtime starts at 6:55am with "Election Day", hosted by Hristina Hristova and Simeon Ivanov. Georgi Lyubenov takes over from 9am to noon. More than 40 reporting teams will work through the day from places in Bulgaria and abroad. Journalists, political analysts and well-known figures will give comment. Reporters will join live from polling stations and follow how the main presidential candidates vote.
Rumen Yonchev will read the news on the hour from 7am to 10am. Nora Arsova hosts the one-hour midday bulletin "Around the World and at Home" at noon.
At 3:20pm Poli Zlatareva begins "The Choice: More From the Day". BNT says the show will take viewers into unseen halls of power and tell untold stories from 2 Dondukov.
"Your Voice" runs from 5pm to 6pm in a special studio in an arts space in central Sofia. Dobrina Cheshmedzhieva is the host. She says the studio will look for the voice of young people, of active citizens and of all viewers who followed the campaign on BNT. Bulgarians and foreigners who see Bulgaria as a second home are invited.
Cheshmedzhieva also announced a new platform that will gather views and questions from the studio audience, the guests and viewers. An online part of "Your Voice" on BNT's YouTube channel will comment on the first results from 8pm.
At 6pm Filipa Ognyanova and Kostadin Filipov present the main "Around the World and at Home" bulletin, which will sum up the day so far.
"Election Night" follows, with Boyko Vasilev and Adelina Radeva. The broadcaster calls it the high point of the programme. Analysts and commentators will speak in the studio, and the first political reactions will be heard there.
The projections and exit polls come from the agencies Alpha Research and Myara. Radeva said BNT will rely on authority and high expertise, and that these two agencies will give the most accurate forecasts. She said the polls up to the final days and the first exit polls will show precisely how voters' views have shifted. There will be new elements too, she added.
Vasilev says BNT's strength on election night is to give viewers what they expect and also surprise them. "Politics should not be a spectacle, but with us it will be a story with drama and surprises," he said. He promised the most interesting commentators and the most accurate forecasts, again with 3D mapping. The building, which BNT calls "the biggest screen in Bulgaria", will be the centre of the night.
Stefan A. Shterev will host a studio on the roof of BNT, one of the highest points in Sofia, to show election day from a different angle. He calls it the highest polling-day spot in Bulgaria and says you see best from above.
Shterev will talk with his guests about the choices we make every day, what they mean and how they shape the future. "We will watch from above, but not look down on anyone," the host said. He says BNT must be everywhere and bad weather does not scare it.
BNT will have special envoys in Turkey, France and the UK. Its correspondents will join from the US, Belgium and Romania, and live links are also planned from Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
