The nearly 5 million euros in European funding secured by the local government this year is an unprecedented achievement for a period in which the state has been operating without an adopted budget. According to Mayor Marin Kirov, this success enables large-scale investments, including the procurement of new specialized equipment for maintaining cleanliness in the municipality.

The modern street sweepers, acquired through European funds and resources from levies paid to the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water – Burgas, are now entering service to maintain streets and public areas. The official presentation of the new equipment brought together local mayors, administration representatives, and deputy mayors.

"With these machines, we will initially strengthen cleaning operations in Lozenets, Tsarevo, and Ahtopol, and we will gradually purchase more machinery and equipment for the other settlements," stated Mayor Marin Kirov. Information regarding the updated equipment base was officially announced by the municipal press center.
