Recognition for long-standing dedication and commitment

The Local Commission for Combating Anti-Social Behavior by Minors and Juveniles of Burgas Municipality marked the contribution of nine of its most experienced public educators in a special way. At a solemn ceremony, they were sent off into a well-deserved retirement for their many years of work in support of children with behavioral difficulties.

In the field of education and social mission, the most valuable capital is the people who put their heart into their work, said Deputy Mayor Mihail Nenov.

In place of the experienced staff, the Commission approved eight new public educators. The team is being strengthened by psychologists, a pedagogue, an art therapist, and a yoga instructor, who have already completed initial training on the regulatory framework.

  • Special gesture: Hand-painted mugs from the "Tsonka Todorova" Social Enterprise.
  • Mission: Prevention of anti-social behavior and support for the development of every child.
