Two cars, a Nissan and a Mercedes, crashed this evening on the Sarafovo-Burgas road, near the Outlet area. Traffic was briefly held up. See our original report: Three cars crash on road to Sarafovo, block traffic.

Police are at the scene trying to find out what caused the crash and making sure the road is safe. Both cars were quickly moved to the car park by the petrol station near the cemetery park so traffic could flow again.

Police are checking two possible causes: an unsafe overtake or a driver not giving way. They are still working to find out exactly what caused the crash.
