The position of the Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health (MH) has not received any information regarding the suspension of BCG vaccine production, the institution's press center reported to BTA. At the moment, a contract has been signed with "Bul Bio - NCIPD" EAD, and all deliveries are being carried out according to the established schedule.
The MH maintains the necessary reserve of vaccines for children up to six years of age in accordance with the recommendations of the National Expert Council on Immunization.
Problems at "Bul Bio"
- Employees of the company are protesting due to risks to production.
- The new production laboratory has not yet been put into operation.
- The reason for the delay is remarks made by the World Health Organization (WHO).

27.07.2026, 14:56Абе, DE53A38301, "евала" е хубаво, ама малко ме съмнява тази спокойствието им. Да, важно е да произвеждаме ваксини тук, абсолютно си прав, и аз го мисля така. Но тая история с "Бул Био" и СЗО... нещо не ми се връзва. Нали все пак говорим за регулации? И какво точно е толкова сложно, че трябва да има протести?
