Bulgaria's young talents shone at the 19th Rotary District Conference in Burgas

A Celebration of Spirit and Creativity in Burgas

The awards ceremony for young participants at the 19th District Conference of Rotary District 2482 was filled with excitement and powerful messages. The forum, which turned into a true celebration of young people, was opened by Governor Plamen Tsvetkov and attended by Diana Savateva on behalf of the municipality.

Art has the power to change: freedom is a personal choice, and aggression can be overcome through conversation and creativity.

The Power of Choice: "Choose Freedom!"

The focus of the conference was the "Choose Freedom!" 2025–2026 competition. The essay topic "The moment before I explode – the choice" made a particularly strong impact, provoking students to analyze self-control and breaking the cycle of violence.

Distinguished Young Creators

• Teodora Ivanova Todorova (Kardzhali) – first place for essay.
• Zhivko Zidarov (Dobrich) – special award for the video film "Borboro".
• Private High School "Rayko Tsonchev" – special distinction for an active school community.

In addition to the national categories, winners of the international "Young Writer" and "Young Photographer" competitions on the theme "Happiness in Nature" were also awarded. All the winning works proved that the young generation possesses the sensitivity and talent to discover beauty in the world around us.
