The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Ivan Ivanov, opened an Information Day on the procedure "Concepts for Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI)-2" in Gabrovo. He emphasized that the realization of specific projects, as well as the long-term social and economic development of the regions, depend on the commitment, vision, and partnership spirit of local authorities and stakeholders.
Minister Ivanov pointed out that integrated territorial investments are a strategic tool for achieving real, measurable change and improving the regions. The implementation of the approved concepts is expected to lead to the creation of new jobs, improved infrastructure, better education, healthcare, and social services, strengthening of local communities, and increased attractiveness of the regions.
Deputy Minister Yura Vitanova expressed hope that the second call will generate the same great interest as the first one and that many project proposals meeting the development needs of the regions will be presented. The deadline for submitting ITI concepts is July 8 this year.
