The Future of Healthcare: Challenges of the 21st Century
During the National Healthcare Conference, Minister of Health Katya Ivkova emphasized the need for constructive dialogue to address the difficulties in the sector. The event, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Healthcare Professionals (BAHP), brought together experts to discuss modern aspects of patient care.
"Healthcare professionals are the most valuable resource in the system and the most important support for patients," stated Minister Ivkova.
Key Development Priorities:
- Attracting young personnel: A long-term strategy to support the healthcare system over the next 20-30 years.
- Sustainable solutions: Seeking effective policies through active dialogue with the professional community.
- International presence: An idea to include a representative of healthcare professionals in the Bulgarian delegation at the World Health Assembly.

Щом казват, че здравните специалисти са "най-ценният ресурс" – ами да им го докажат с факти, бе! Заплати, условия на труд, възможност за развитие – това е, което ще задържи младите хора в системата, а не красиви речи на конференции.
