The Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior is taking intensive measures to locate TikToker Stoyan Kolev, who has fled the location where he was serving house arrest. Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev commented on the case in Burgas just 24 hours after the influencer made a risky escape by jumping out of a third-story window of an apartment building in the "Slaveykov" residential complex in Burgas.

Demerdzhiev expressed serious bewilderment regarding the effectiveness of the technical control devices being used. "It is very interesting to me why the ankle monitor placed on this person does not have the necessary tracking device. We will clarify this issue, and we will locate him – I have no doubt about that," the minister stated firmly.

Meanwhile, Stoyan Kolev appeared in a live stream where he shared details about his escape. He recounted how, during the previous day, he was forced to run barefoot for 4 hours through the streets of Burgas, despite suffering serious leg injuries from the jump. "I didn't want to run away, they drove me crazy," Kolev claimed in his defense.
