According to the official election schedule adopted by the Central Election Commission, the deadline for initiative committees to submit their registration applications to the CEC expires today at 5:00 p.m.

At the same time, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works informs that, starting today until October 10, voters have the opportunity to submit applications to vote at their current address for the upcoming presidential and vice-presidential elections on October 25. Documents can be submitted either through municipal administrations or electronically via the website of the Directorate General for Civil Registration and Administrative Services (DG GRAO).

Every citizen who makes use of this procedure will be automatically entered into the electoral rolls at their current address and simultaneously removed from those at their permanent address.

Residents of Burgas and the region who will be away from their permanent address during the elections can take advantage of the opportunity to vote where they currently reside.

From today, it is also possible to check your polling station location and election section number. For the convenience of citizens, the inquiry can be made in two ways:

  • via the DG GRAO website;
  • by calling the toll-free national telephone number 0800 1 4726.
