Border police will show pupils at the Konstantin Petkanov school in Burgas how their service dogs work. The event takes place on 26 October at 10:00 in the school yard, the Border Police regional directorate in Burgas said.

It is timed for National Revival Leaders' Day. Directorate staff are organising it, and the directorate's sports club, Deltum, is running the initiative. Former commissioner Nedelcho Rachev is in charge.

Pupils will see the work of a border police officer and the dogs up close. The programme includes demonstrations and information on security. It is open to children, parents and teachers.

The club will also give the school new sports equipment for physical education lessons as a gift.
