Hot weather and high temperatures: Weather forecast until the end of the week

Heat wave hits Bulgaria

Overnight, the weather will be mostly clear and quiet, with the exception of Northeastern Bulgaria, where a light southerly wind will blow. Tomorrow we expect a sunny and hot day, the NIMH reported.

Temperatures and conditions in the country

Maximum temperatures will reach between 33° and 38°. In the morning hours, low clouds or reduced visibility are possible in the eastern regions. In the afternoon, insignificant cumulus clouds will develop over the Rhodope Mountains.

Atmospheric pressure will drop during the day and will approach the average values for the month.

Regional forecast:

• Black Sea coast: Sunny weather with temperatures from 26° to 30°. The sea water temperature is 24°-25°, and the sea state is around 2 on the Douglas scale.
• Mountains: Sunny weather, perfect for walks. Temperatures at 1200 meters will be around 28°, and at 2000 meters – 21°.

What kind of weather can we expect on Friday and Saturday?

On Friday, temperatures will rise even further, reaching 39°. On Saturday, it will remain sunny, with the probability of precipitation remaining minimal.
